Billy Holland is a proud native of Warren County, TN and a graduate of Warren County High School’s class of 2011. With a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Communication Studies from East Tennessee State University, Billy has always been keen on understanding the dynamics of societal issues and effective communication.
Shortly after his graduation, Billy married his beloved wife, Peyton, and made the move back to the heart of Middle Tennessee, bringing his life full circle. Billy and Peyton have since been blessed with a lovely daughter named Willow Holland, who was born in December 2022, adding a new and joyful chapter to their lives.
In the early stages of his professional journey, Billy entered the sales industry, working at a local Chevrolet dealership. He then broadened his expertise by accepting a role as a Disability Claims Adjudicator with the State of Tennessee. In this position, he adeptly managed thousands of incoming Social Security Disability claims, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient claim resolution.
In 2019, Billy decided to pivot back to his passion for sales and was delighted to be offered a role as an Insurance Agent by Justin Lanier at Douglas & Lanier Agency. After successfully passing his licensing examinations, Billy returned to his roots in McMinnville, TN, eager to serve his hometown and the broader Middle Tennessee community.
Now with several years of experience under his belt, Billy has established a reputation as a trusted insurance agent. He specializes in personal lines, an area where he has proven to be particularly adept, but also manages commercial insurance, carving a niche for himself in the retail sector. Billy also has an active role in the agency’s marketing efforts, using his extensive communication skills to reach out to prospective and existing clients.
Through it all, Billy looks forward to continuously providing excellent service to the residents of his hometown and Middle Tennessee, making a positive impact through his work at Douglas & Lanier Agency.
